ALEX NERI iniza giovanissimo la sua carriera di dj e comincia a farsi conoscere nei vari club della Toscana, privilegiando le serate con attitudini new wave ed elettro funk. Nei primi anni 90 è dj resident alla consolle del Penelope - Insomnia. Nel frattempo, produce i suoi dischi in studio dando vita col suo socio Marco Baroni a varie produzioni tra i quali il progetto Kamasutra che lo consacrerà nella scena mondiale. Nel 1999 nascono i Planet Funk, che già col primo singolo, scalano velocemente le classifiche europee, per poi inanellare una serie straordinaria di successi pluripremiati dalla critica internazionale. Alex Neri in collaborazione col Tenax fonda nel 2003 l’etichetta “Tenax Recordings”, acclamata sia dal pubblico che dagli addetti ai lavori. Il primo singolo “housetrack” ha ricevuto il premio Siae come disco più venduto da etichetta indipendente nell’anno 2004. Dalla Tenax Recordings nascono alcuni fra i nuovi nomi più apprezzati nel panorama italiano: Luca Bacchetti, Ilario Alicante, Federico Grazzini, Minimono , Federico Locchi, Sonothèque e molti altri. Contemporaneamente a quella di produttore, Alex Neri porta avanti anche l’intenso lavoro di remix per moltissimi artisti della scena italiana e internazionale. La passione di Alex resta la consolle, dove riesce a esprimere al meglio il suo amore per la musica. Da sempre innovativo e precursore di sonorità e stili musicali, i suoi dj sets sono oggi uno splendido connubio tra le sue produzioni e il meglio della musica house in circolazione. Il talento di Alex lo porta attraverso l'Europa e il resto del mondo a lavorare nelle piu' belle serate ed eventi mentre a Firenze, nella sua vera e propria “house”, ossia la serata Nobody's Perfect del Tenax, Alex propone da quest’anno una vera e propria festa : “Alex Neri - Friends”. Un ciclo di appuntamenti che è già un punto di ritrovo per i veri "clubbers", gli amanti dell'house music, e della discoteca intesa come "festa", come aggregazione e incontro... .... -
