Lady Gaga may tour with Madonna
by Emily Zemler Aug 30, 2010 at 2:05 PM
British tabloids are reporting that Madonna wants Lady Gaga to open for her world tour next year. A source told News Of the World that, “Madonna is absolutely obsessed with Gaga. She thinks she is the most cutting-edge star to come out of pop in ages and desperately wants to work with her.” The source added, “Basically Gaga can name her price.”
We’re not really sure if we can take the words of this “source” at face value, but this pairing on a tour would be pretty amazing. It would almost be like a competition over who has the best outfits. And a battle to see who could use more bleach to maintain their hair color?

We've got your tickets for FYF Fest in LA
by Dan Hyman Aug 30, 2010 at 11:59 AM
If we had our way, every national holiday would be spent listening to indie rock bands. But we can’t always be so lucky. However, on this Labor Day weekend, the time is ours. This Saturday, September 4, at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, it’s all things indie at Fuck Yeah Fest. Some of our favorite artists including Best Coast (pictured above), Waaves, Local Natives, Titus Andronicus, The Soft Pack and The Mountain Goats will all be there—along with countless others.
So… you’re probably thinking you’d love to go, but don’t have tickets. No worries… we’ve got you covered. Every day this week we’re giving away tickets. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week we’ll be giving away a 4-pack of tickets, and on Thursday, we’re giving away A 10-PACK OF VIP TICKETS. You read that correctly. You and your friends could be rocking out all weekend for free.
