Young Jay has rocked stages with Industry and Independent Hip-Hop/Rap artists such as E-40, Ying Yang Twins, Yung Joc, Twista, Layzie Bone, Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, Mike Jones, Dorrough, Do or Die, DJ Unk, Young Buck, Yukmouth, Andre Nickatina, Nipsy Hussle, Krizz Kaliko, The Jacka, Mistah Fab, Keak Da Sneak, Zion I, 2pac's Outlawz and Many Others. Young Jay has been featured in "TRUE Magazine", "Mafia Magazine", "Hood Illustrated", "Hostile Magazine" and "Ipappazzi Magazine". He's also been featured on major mixtapes "Coast2Coast Vol. 95" and "Coast2Coast the ShowCase Vol. 27." "DJ MLG presents Young Jay: Northwest Kingdom Pre-Album Vol. 3" est. 233,000+ Impressions. Javan "Young Jay" Jordan was born on May 10, 1988 and raised in the Pacific Northwest from the slums and ghettos of Central Washington to the Trap houses on the Salish and Kootenai Native American Reservations in Western Montana. Young Jay was a troubled youth lured into the Dope Game life at an early age. Young jay started rapping at the age of 15 with other young artists in Central Washington (Yakima and Ellensburg, WA) who later formed the Nine Side Movement. Living fast at a young age finally caught up to Jay when he was charged with Assault with a Weapon and put on probation at the age of 16. In the summer of 2007 Young Jay linked up with Holy Fam out of Spokane, WA and by the end of the year they were in full support of the Nine Side Movement and released "Compact Dope" a mixtape that gained a major regional buzz. In-between 2008 and 2011 Young Jay has released four pre-album mixtapes and one street album all released regionally and digitally and gained Young Jay respect from artist all over the country. Young Jay is not your average rapper/hip-hop artist, he is a trendsetter, a hit songwriter, and a young entrepreneur owning and running his own Digital Media Company (Nine Side Productions) and his own clothing line (D.G.V. Clothing). He's performed over 200 shows dominating the Northwest rap scene since 2008 from Anchorage, AK to Portland, OR. -
