  LEGACY MAGAZIN REVIEW: KOSMOS „From Innocence To Perversity“
Die Franzosen kommen. Das Black Metal-Baguette wird immer länger, auch Nekros (auch Inferi Glori) backt ein weiteres. Nur essen wollen dürfte es niemand, schließlich beschreibt de
r Künstler sein Werk nicht zu Unrecht als schwarze Kunst und als Wunde, die niemals heilt. KOSMOS aus Drome befassen sich textlich mit den dunklen Seiten des Mittelalters, von einem Menschen, der von der Kirche gerettet und anschließend zum Vergewaltiger wird. Das ist genauso wenig antikosmisch wie der musikalische Kosmos der Band – aber deswegen keineswegs schlecht. Wer KOSMOS hört, der denkt durchaus an Verdunkeln, Blut aus Nord, Funeral Mist oder auch Shining. Weil Nekros auf seiner Premierescheibe nämlich Versatzstücke allenthalben zusammen klaubt und sein Backerzeugnis klingt wie eine dissonante Black Metal-Version mit Groove und Melodie. Keine Ahnung, wie er das genau hinkriegt, aber wer die erste Verwunderung und Ablehnung gegen seine ungesunden Krächzvocals und die scheinbar Zahnweh verursachenden, verqueren Sound-Strukturen abgelegt hat, den belohnt ein Song wie ,Void Of Reason‘ mit unterschwelligem Groove und beinahe warmherzigen Melodien - die aber das folgende ,You Will Rape Children‘ mit Bravour wieder zerschmirgelt. Gutes Debüt mit viel Herzblut, das sich auch im Eröffnungsangebot niederschlägt.
