Pink Floyd Get Their Own Stamp Sheet – And A Royal Mail First
After the hugely successful Royal Mail issue of ‘Classic Album Covers’ in January, Britain’s Royal Mail are to make available, on March 6th, a special gummed sheet containing ten of the First Class ‘Division Bell’ stamps only.Similar to the Classic Albums ‘Souvenir Sheet’, the ten ‘Division Bell’ stamps are perforated for easy usage, while the sheet itself is die-cut to resemble a vinyl disc emerging from an album sleeve. The sheet design also includes an icon from the ‘Division Bell’ album art, plus an extract of Polly Samson and David Gilmour’s lyrics for ‘High Hopes’.The Stamp Sheet is a limited edition, available tomorrow from the Pink Floyd Store or from The Royal Mail eBay shop.In addition, Royal Mail has announced that, for the first time ever, they will be authorising merchandise featuring a Royal Mail stamp: a Division Bell Stamp t-shirt and tote bag. Available from the Pink Floyd Store and selected Royal Mail outlets, the t-shirt and bag highlight the stamp imagery, while the t-shirt includes a frank mark of ‘Ely, Cambs’ (Cambridgeshire), commemorating the place of album photography, plus ‘March 28, 1994’ the date of album release. -

Some Like It Cold – A Cold Case Of Floyd March 14th
US TV crime series Cold Case occasionally creates themed episodes featuring songs from one artist and in March it will be Pink Floyd’s turn. Broadcast in the US at 9PM on Sunday March 14th, the episode will include extracts of seven songs: Comfortably Numb, Hey You, Mother, Marooned, Wish You Were Here, Time and The Thin Ice.
Now in its seventh series, Cold Case revolves around a fictionalised Philadelphia police Department that specialises in investigating ‘cold’, or inactive, cases. Each episode opens with a flashback scene that establishes the year in which the crime took place, and makes use of era-appropriate music. Other artists who have been accorded single-artist only episodes include Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Frank Sinatra and The Doors.
Please check TV listings for broadcasts outside the US.

what I wish for, outside of the Hoping Foundation, is to see David join Roger on his 30th anniversary 'The Wall' Tour.
