Luca Madonia began his foray into songwriting as a member of Italian pop band Denovo in the mid-'80s.
He went solo in 1991, recording several albums of his own before Denovo reunited in the early 2000s. He continued to record solo, with his 2011 album Alieno breaking into the Italian album charts, peaking at number 48. ~ Fred Thomas
