About me:

The yellow rose is a symbol of friendship. Friendship is a gift. May my yellow rose be a shining light in your life to cherish and remind you that you have a friend! I am 5' 3" blond hair and brown eyes. Please read my profile and while you ar at it read my poems in Blog. I've lived in this place for 30 years and love the hillcountry. Recently I have met the love of my life and am enjoying the attention he pays me. Loneliness is the thing of the past. I have to pinch myself to be sure this is not just a dream. I have 2 children grown and gone but blessed with 2 teenage grandaughters and 2 grandsons. Emabee (#5 on my friends list) is my beautiful great-grandaughter. #1 is my daughter Tracey, #2 is my beautiful sister Mandy, #3 is my youngest grandaughter Kiarra, and #4 is my oldest grandaughter, Lyndsee ..

  • General

    Interest vary from hobbies to music and dancing. Want to travel and see the world, touch to sun, wade in the oceans, kiss the wind, chase the blues away, count the stars, sing when I'm happy and cry when I'm sad, and learn more about life and live it to the fullest.

  • Music

    I play keyboard and love to sing by myself with no one to hear. I love Country and Western music but others are good too. Just don't keep up with the latest. I would love to have some of my poems put to music. Started going to jam sessions and love them.

  • Movies

    Go to the movies almost every week with "the girls night out gang" I like sci fi and mystery, and good love stories. I think my favorite sci fi has to be all the Star Wars movies, and my favorite love stories would be "A Walk in the Clouds"

  • Television

    I watch "Grey's Anatomy" Dancing with the Stars and Food network. I love football and I'm a Dallas Cowboy fan. I love baseball and basketball also. Keep up with the Yankees but not necessarily root for any one team. Basketball of course goes to the SanAntonio Spurs

  • Books

    Romance novels and mystery novels top the list. But I think I read more from the Bible than any book. I'm one to read a book someone brings me and says "You gotta read this!"

  • Heroes

    Mama and Daddy who live with Jesus now. My daughter and son and 2 grandaughters, 2 handsome little grandsons, and 1 greatgrandaughter
