Josefin Glenmark

Bio:

.. .. Josefin Glenmark is a singer and songwriter from Sweden. Currently she is working on her debut-album, "Hillside Stories". She was born and raised in a family where music was the center of the universe. Both her parents are musicians and she more or less grew up in their studio. Even though she attended music schools most of her life, it wasn't until her late twenties she realized music was the center of HER universe as well. She lived in Los Angeles from 1998-2003, where she worked with different bands singing back-up. She also started to work for different producers, for fun, as a demo-singer. She asked them to give her tracks to write melodies and lyrics to. Shortly thereafter she bought her own guitar and started to write her own songs. One thing lead to another and she landed a job singing back-up on a Robbie Williams song. ( Escapology, " Cursed". ) During this time she worked as a demo-singer for Robbie's producer and co-writer, Guy Chambers. Guy encouraged Josefin to continue singing, but to take it to the next level. She made up her mind, packed her bags and moved back to Sweden. Since 2003, she has been living in Stockholm, where she writes music with talented writers from all over the world. At the same time she has been working on her own music and will soon release the first album. She can been seen on television in Sweden ( Singing Bee TV3 ), singing back-up for other artists and performing with her own music around Sweden. Be on the look-out!
