    Ed.Rock 'FunkiestGuitarist' was born in Brooklyn New York by musical parents James E. Williams and mother Mary T. Williams they wanted a better life for Ed and the rest of his siblings. They moved 2 Cambria Heights Queens New York where Ed went 2 P.S. 147 it was in 6th grade that Ed saw the Jackson 5 on the Ed.Sullivan Show and wanted 2 play Guitar. But it's when he got 2 7th grade at J.H.S. 192 in Hollis Queens thats when he met his childhood friend Tim Mills the 2 formed a band called 'Taste' they had Mitch Harris, Michelle Howard [Rest in Peace] and Kirk Harris on vocals bassist Kenny Worthy on bass, bassist Kenny Worthy had twin cousins Anthony and Albert Anthony played Guitar Albert played drums for a band called 'Tempo' which they changed the name 2 Juice, they took Tim and Ed under their wings. Anthony and Albert showed them what is too be the best. But bassist Kenny Worthy was not the right bassist for what Ed and Tim wanted 2 do. But in 8th grade Ed had a friend name Robert Walker who played drums for a band called The Power of Soul and Rob use 2 tease Ed about his little brother Jerry who would cut him up on Guitar but around that time Ed had already made a name for himself at 14 years old as 1 of the Funkiest little cats around town. So Rob kept telling Ed his brother was better so 1 thing lead 2 another Rob said he wanted Ed 2 meet his little brother Jerry so 1 day Rob took Ed 2 meet him and they became the best of friends. So Tim and Ed talk Jerry into playing bass he was so gifted at 12 years old he was much better on bass than guitar so he played bass for 'Taste' and Rob and the rest of the Power of Soul did not like it at all! but it worked out, Jerry played bass for Taste and Guitar for Power of Soul Taste was the better of the 2 bands so Jerry stayed on bass for Taste and Power of Soul broke up. And the Brooksman never played Guitar again and the rest is history, Anthony and Albert from 'Juice' Turned Taste into one of the best kid bands around town young kids Playing like Grown men they were talented kids 2 be so young. But Ed left the group 2 do other things. He started gettin into Hendrix and Freddie Stone adding Hendrix to his style of playing and getting 'Funkier' by Listening 2 Freddy Stone, at 16 years old. So the Taste members went their seperate ways and broke up it was'nt the same without Ed he just wanted to move on. So months two a year went by and Tim Mills and Jerry Brooks put together Doc Ice And they needed their childhood friend Ed on guitar two make 1 of the most powerhouse bands around. That was alot of power and 'FUNK' Ed went on too be in many other groups like The New Message and The Brooksman would sit in sometime for their bassist Phil Hutcherson. Tim Mills Jerry Brooks and Ed. Rock are still the best of friends til this day. Ed Rock new cd titled 'it wasn't me' due for release Aug.22 2010. Ed wrote and produced all the music, with the help from Jerry Brooks for 1 track titled 'i wonder' with The Brooksman on bass. When those 2 get together 'it's some Funkin and Groovin in the 'Pocket' SHIT. Ed's 1st cd i got that chop is Funkin up Amazon and itunes so look and listen out for his new release 'it wasn't me'. Ed.Rock do not use Protools, Programs or Samplin Tracks thats that 'Bullshit so Don't Hate and remember Ain't no Samplin up in Hear BIATCHES .. .. .. ......
