ejmurphycomedy.com Vermont native E.J. murphy has played top clubs from New York to Boston, and built a reputation as one of the Northeast's consistently funny comedy acts while developing into one of Boston's new headliners. An astute observer of the rediculous in human nature, he was chosen by Comedy Central to be a semi-finalist in the Boston Laugh Riots, and has been a semi-finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival. His Vermont upbringing helped him form his unique perspective, which blends with an onstage friendliness to make him a hit with all audiences. He has shared the stage with Gilbert Gottfried, Jim Norton, Nick DiPaolo, Greg Giraldo, Bobby Collins, Pauley Shore, Gary Gulman, John Heffron, Juston McKinney, Louis Ramey, Robert Kelly and Jim Florentine. He has also opened for Styx at The Cape Cod Melody Tent and South Shore Music Circus, venues that seat 2,000. -
