DAYS OF COLLAPSE were born in 2009 in Vicenza (Italy), ) with the intent to propose an experimental, violent and thoughtful mathcore (reference bands are: The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Chariot, Converge, Stray From The Path).
D.O.C. were born from the idea of three friends, Davide Tonin, Stefano Massignan and Giovanni Cocco. After writing the first songs, in summer 2010 they were joined by singer Marco “Velo” Veloteri, so they could finally complete their tracks and start to play live concerts. In spring 2011, following the desire to renew their style, together with the need of a second guitarist D.O.C. welcome Marco “Dolce” Dolcemascolo, who brought fresh ideas and lots of energy. Few months later Giovanni left the band.

As a consequence, the band decided to start over with brand new songs, leaving the old ones behind, in search for a true musical identity. The right inspiration came along with the arrival of Andrea “Andriu” Andriolo at the second guitar. Satisfied with thir new written material, D.O.C. entered the “Raptor”, the studio of Matteo “Ciube” Tabacco (Dufresne) in september 2011 and registered their first 5 songs EP called “Life Concept”. This EP was self-produced in 300 copies, and the covers were hand-printed one by one.

In march 2012 Andriu left the band and was replaced by Daiki Gaianigo.[2]In the same month Dolce left the band Days of Collapse are currently working on their first album.
