Melbourne, Australia – Australian rock sensation Aimee Francis is poised to bring her charismatic blend of rock 'n' roll to the United Kingdom and United States. In celebration of her debut The Calm Before the Storm, now available on iTunes, the 20 year-old multi-instrumentalist is releasing her newest single “Can't You See.”

The Calm Before the Storm was engineered and produced by Andrew DeSilva, who has worked with Jessica Mauboy, Tina Arena, Natalie Bassingthwaite, etc. The record encompasses the “Aimee Francis sound,” which combines heavy, moving vocals with a plethora of seasoned veterans. The results are an astounding array of fearlessness and musical craftsmanship. The album showcases her many influences, from Pink to the Rolling Stones, as she fuses powerful ballads with rock 'n' roll sensibilities that are well beyond her years.

Aimee has been interviewed for Beat Magazine, and recently spoke with online magazine CherryGrrl.com. She has also performed at the famed Dinah Shore weekend, sold-out the Viper Room in West Hollywood and continues to self-book and fund her solo efforts. She is currently overseas promoting the album and plans to return to the United States in October for a three week promotional tour. She will return to Australia in Winter 2011 to continue writing, promoting and performing.
